Why can’t I get two digital channels on my recently bought HDTV?

I bought a 26″ Toshiba HDTV (model #: 26AV502R) about a month ago. I get all the digital channels possible, except for two: PBS and ABC. I live in Phoenix. Is there something I have to do to get these two channels?

I have another TV, an older one and it’s hooked up to a converter box. However, I get all the channels on that one.

I don’t know if it helps, but channel number for PBS in Phoenix is 8 and for ABC it is 15.

I’m in Scottsdale and I’m not getting 8.1 or any of their other subchannels on my over the air antenna either so I do not know what is up with PBS. I am getting their main channel high def feed though over Directv though.

I just went and checked and I am getting 15.1, & 15.2 over the air and 15.1 over Directv also.
