Anyone who loses a digital television signal through the air, since the government mandated switch to digital n May / June?
Here in Rochester, NY, United States, I was six-channel digital broadcast free over the air for about three years. For some reason, coincidence or not, while analog signals are turned off (or digital signal lights all) – I lost three of the six channels that I received. It makes no sense to me. For anyone in Rochester, I get more channels are: ABC – channel 13 – which is my receiver in 1131 – some call it: 13.1 CW – Channel 16 – which is my receiver in 1132 – some call it: 13.2 CBS – Channel 8 – which is: 1081 My Receiver – some call it: 8.1 channels are still Me … NBC – Channel 10 – which is my receiver in 1101 – some call it: 10.1 FOX – Channel 31 – which is: 1311 on my receiver – some call it: 31.1 PBS – Channel 21 – that is, 1211 to my receiver – some call it: 21.1 … Thoughts are appreciated.
Relatively few people had problems, usually the cause is either "No rescanning the converter or after the DTV transition. A large number of television channels changed their frequency digital transmission ( "RF Channel") as part of switch-off. You gotta go to the DTV / menu converter and must be reviewed to find New frecuencias. "Using a UHF antenna only. In many areas of TV channels switched temporarily UHF" RFchannels "on VHF. This is probably not your problem because you can get NBC 10.1 transmitting the RF channel 10, a VHF channel. Unlike the old system analog channels, digital channel numbers are more like those names. Digital tuners are essentially "sweep" (search in all channels possible) to find them. The number of digital channels do not provide information on selection compared to UHF VHF antenna. "RFchannels" are the same as the old analog and therefore the selection of satellite television: 2-6 low VHF 7-13 are VHF – UHF are Max 14-51
