TV Reception Issues?

I have a 27inch Sony Trinitron TV. I used to have Comcast Cable but I recently moved. I don’t watch alot of TV; so I deceided that I don’t need cable any more. I’m looking at getting a new TV next year after tax time. My problem is that the reception I recieve on my TV is bad. I have a cheap antenna (rabbit ears). I don’t know how to really explain it looks like on the picture there are multiples of the thing I’m looking at. If it’s letters I can see the whole word and then like “shadows” of the same word or image. I’m curious to know what kind of antenna would best help me (one I could buy at like a Best Buy, Circuit City, or Radio Shack. I live in the city (minneapolis, mn) so I’m not out of signal range. When I play DVD’s or games the picture is great so it has to be a reception issue.

Yep. It’s the cheap antenna. For optimal reception, you will need a better antenna, probably one that mounts outside.
