I currently have Charter for cable and internet. I pay $170 per month, which gets me HBO, Cinemax, Starz, Showtime, and pretty much all movie channels that are offered. I also get On Demand, and high speed wireless internet is included in the $170 price tag. I do NOT currently have DVR, but I want it. Does anyone know:

Approximately what the above services- TV w all movie channels, high speed internet, AND DVR would cost per month with Direct TV?

Approximately what the setup/installation costs are with Direct TV? I have four tv’s that would need to be set up.

How Direct TV does with its signal in bad weather?

I live in an area prone to heavy rain and t-storms(Northern Georgia) and from my experience it would have to be raining extremely heavy to lose the signal if installed correctly and the signal would only go out for a minute or less.
