How do you feel about pushing back the DTV Transition? Everyone’s opinions please!!?
The DTV Transition is 38 days away as of today, and O’bama wants to push it back. I understand that the federal coupon program is out of money, but I consider it totally irresponsible if you don’t have your converter box, or optional new TV by now, because the ads have been airing for a year, no joke nor exaggeration. How do you feel about pushing back the transition? Just because of my opinion, don’t let it affect your choice. If you want to push it back say so, if not feel free too. I know that some people may not want to say something because of what i said.
I’m ready for it, but despite the running of ads, etc, a lot of people don’t actually understand the whole concept and what it means to them. Plus, those who let their coupons expire are stuck without one for now. There are also a lot of broadcasters that won’t be ready for the transition. To schedule it in the middle of winter when a lot of tower work needs to be done is just plain stupid. For obvious reasons, riggers won’t climb in bad weather.
