Why do some TV series on dvd return to the title menu after each episode, instead of playing all?
I collect vintage TV series on dvd and some dvds I have in my collection return to the title menu after each episode – even a few that have the “Play all” option.
I am really frustrated that the dvds in the new Twilight Zone collection I bought – with all its extra bells and whistles – doesn’t play through from start to finish. It returns to the title menu and I have to click on the next selection to play it. It’s really a dumb idea for studios to program dvds to return to the title menu/episode list after each segment.
Just thought I’d ask – is there any way around this?

It all depends how the DVD was authored.
Check again the DVD (disc) menu/setup options.
