What kind of cable or splitter do i need?
So I have an xbox 360 connected to the family TV downstairs. My room is also downstairs just a wall away from the TV. When we built this house we weren’t thinking about putting TV’s in our rooms, so when I asked for a TV with satellite I got the TV and a transmitter/receiver. The transmitter plugs in the back of my Direct TV box through a regular A/V cord. The receiver plugs into the back of my TV through a regular A/V cord. Is there anyone I can do this to my xbox 360 and still have it on the big TV and my TV? I’d need like a splitter with one input with two outputs, but I think one of the outputs would have to be female ( I think that is what they are called), meaning that they don’t have a pointy things, so that my transmitter can plug into it. I’ve seen like 4 way amplifiers, but I don’t want to spend that much money when I only need 1 input and 2 outputs please help me see if this is possible and make it as cheap as possible to.
you can also get an audio video switcher try Radio Shack. Get one that matches the wiring( composite componet or HDMI that you are using
